- When and where will it take place?
The STAR IP will take place from 20th of July to 3rd of August 2014 at the University of Münster, Germany.

- Who can apply?
You can apply if you are a bachelor or master student of education, geosciences, biology or social sciences. If equally qualified, other students are also welcome to apply. All applicants must be enrolled at one of the participating universities.

- How can you apply?
Students can only apply online via this website. If you fill out the application form and upload your transcript of records, your application will be saved in our database. According to your nationality, it will be forwarded to the corresponding teacher (German, Spanish or Turkish) for further selection procedure (see below).

Please also note that you must have health insurance which covers Germany in order to take part in this programme. If you don’t have a European health insurance, your corresponding teacher will be happy to assist you in choosing a suitable and inexpensive insurance.

- How many students can take part and how are they selected?
Each university will select 8 students for participation in the STAR IP. But: There will also be a waiting list, in case a selected student has to drop out e.g. due to illness.
Selection will be based on the following criteria: academic achievements, good command of English, ability to think in systems and motivation.

- Is there a participation fee?
No, the STAR IP is funded by the EU Lifelong Learning Programme, which covers travel costs and housing. However, life in Germany is more expensive than in Spain or Turkey, so you will need approximately 200€ extra for e.g. meals or free time activities.

- When is the application deadline?
Application is extended to the 31st of January! Applications sent in after this deadline will not be considered.
